Manhattan Beach New Listings (4/9-4/10/22)

By Dave Fratello | April 9th, 2022

The old rule was that people don't list homes during Spring Break, but we don't need to be giving people excuses NOT to list. (C'mon already!) Next they're going to say, oh, Easter, we should just wait...

Below we feature 8 new listings, most of which are open this weekend (although one is a lot sale, so you'll want to bring your builder). There's so much cool factor associated with 1504 Highland, but do give some attention to 1323 17th, a townhome in East Manhattan, if you're just looking for a lot of raw, livable square footage. Don't sleep on that one.

See links and details below, and click any address link to view all photos and property details. Listings appearing here come from the whole MB market and may or may not be represented by MB Confidential author Dave Fratello and Edge.

Open house times are listed below, but you can also click "Open Houses" at the top of our site, which displays all the Manhattan Beach open houses. There are also links right at the top to Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach opens.

East Manhattan Beach

1323 17th Street 2 Manhattan Beach CA1323 17th Street 2 (4br/4ba, 3653 sqft.) is quite a surprise, as there are a few homes along 17th St. here just across from Meadows school that are 2-unit townhome buildings.

1323 17th Street 2 Manhattan Beach CAThis unit is located in an ultra-quiet rear location and shielded from most neighbors around it so that it feels quite private inside.

The living spaces are decent, most of the bedrooms are sizable, but perhaps the biggest surprise is the enormous lower-level family room, which actually gets decent afternoon light.

This is a lot of square footage for the money in any part of MB.

From the official description:

1323 17th Street 2 Manhattan Beach CA"[U]pdated, detached, tri-level townhome in a desirable enclave of Manhattan Beach... Abundant natural light showcases wood finishes and freshly painted neutral tones that create a timeless interior character. Exquisite tile surrounds the fireplaces and exude a sophisticated ambiance throughout the main gathering areas. Numerous Milgard dual-pane windows, some with plantation shutters, frame tranquil vistas. Enjoy chandelier-lit dinners in the dining area or nightcaps on its adjoining balcony. A sleek mosaic tile accentuates the kitchen's granite countertops that sit under tray ceilings with recessed lighting. Stainless steel appliances, including a high-end view fridge, an oversized island, and a pantry complete your culinary space. End the day relaxing in the warmth of the fireplace in the family room. Glass sliders lead to a large deck overlooking the tropical gardens in the private yard. Skylights spill radiant sun over the staircase as you make your way to the upper-level bedrooms comprised of two suites and two secondary retreats with newly installed carpet. Indulge in the expansive proportions of the primary retreat that offers a walk-in closet and direct balcony access. Pamper yourself in its luxe ensuite that treats you to a spa-inspired experience, from the soaking tub and the oversized shower with a bench to the dual Caesarstone vanities. Another series of skylights pair with decorative glass blocks to lend a light and open feel to the space. Downstairs, a fully finished basement offers a versatile area you can customize. Convert it to a theater, game room, gym, office, or even fit all of these in its well-sized space. It also accommodates a utility room with a workbench, a dumbwaiter connected to the main level, and a bonus room."
