Manhattan Beach New Listings (6/19-6/20/21)

It's like a new world this week, as June 15 brought the end of many public COVID restrictions, including many pertaining to touring homes for sale.

Open houses have been "legal" for a few weeks now, and are gradually becoming more of a part of the regular flow for buyers in the market.

But here's something we definitely do not like: Virtual and 3D tours are also becoming scarce.

Virtual walkthroughs are good marketing. Most potential buyers are glued to screens, trying to figure out a house as best they can before deciding to visit. This won't change suddenly just because open houses are a thing again.

For months now, we've come to expect 3D tours and other virtual tour options as nearly automatic features of a new listing. This week, only 2 of 10 new listings have any virtual tours, and both are short videos with music (snore).
