Sand Section

2605 Alma Avenue 2, Manhattan Beach,

2605 Alma Avenue 2, Manhattan Beach,  2605 Alma Avenue 2 (3br/3ba, 1256 sqft.) is a smallish standalone home that is technically a townhome, due to a lot shared with the neighbor to the west.

A detached townhome like this is a fairly uncommon configuration. Even more unusual is the fact that both units face the same alley, and have side-by-side garages.

The current listing mistakenly labels this property as a single-family home, but also states that the lot is 2708 sqft. – now, see, that's the full size of the shared lot. And there is a reason for the odd #2 in the address – could that be because there's a #1? Yes indeed.

2605 Alma Avenue 2, Manhattan Beach, Last sold in Jan. 2021, this home recently got a 100% makeover, including a great re-imagining of the lower living room, now enjoying foldaway doors to the modest front patio.
