Sunday Opens (8/17/14)

By Dave Fratello | August 16th, 2014

First things first, we want to thank readers who asked a variation on, "Was that 'Deals That Don't Stick' article reflecting something that was going on? Is it OK?"

And the answer seems a qualified "yes." So, thanks. Maybe we close the deals with issues this week.

Is this a weekend for real estate, or volleyball?

At, they're saying volleyball. See daily coverage and photos of the MB Open. There's this post on some of the main draws, and a general feature here.

Dig will have results Sunday and Monday. They've got live links to online streaming video as well.

Also, DigMB notes that our boys just missed the Junior League World Series (for 13-14 year-olds). Texas took them in the last game 4-2. But what a great effort – and a summer-long one, at that!

Back to real estate.

This week and next, we're running no reviews, just briefs on the new public open houses. It's Summer! (If not for long.)

To plan your open-house tours for this week, use MB Confidential's online list of Manhattan Beach open houses (it's mobile-friendly!).

Don't forget, when previewing homes here on MB Confidential, you can click "Open All Images" right above the main listing photo to get immediate display of all the listing photos at once.
