And now, an 18-month-old record for sale price on these walkstreets is ready to be broken.
We're looking at 405 7th (4br/5ba, 4254 sqft.), new construction with a build date of 2024, which just completed 2 months on the market.
Out of the blocks, this one was asking $9.299M. (405 7th is listed by Dan O'Connor, Pacific Properties Group, Inc.)
The record?
More than a million dollars less.
That was at 337 7th (4br/5ba, 4500 sqft.), a home built in 2013 that has consistently grabbed top honors for the South End walkstreets east of Highland. (Address link goes offsite to our company web page, which has all the photos.)
The most recent sale there was for $8.050M, closing in May 2023.
Each time it has sold, 337 7th carved out a new ceiling for the walkstreets' home prices.

July 2013: $4.500M
May 2018: $6.900M
May 2020: $8.050M
In the past 4 years, there have been 9 homes total sold on the flat walkstreets over $6M, including two recent new construction homes: 413 5th (5br/7ba, 4200 sqft.) at $7.500M in May 2023, and 341 6th (5br/7ba, 4282 sqft.) at $7.400M in May 2024.
413 5th actually held the record for highest price for a total of 10 days, before 337 7th closed last year.
But now, it's looking like a neighbor on 7th is ready to steal the crown away.
All they gotta do is close the sale somewhere near that $9.3M asking price.
