There's a little more inventory creeping out this week, and some listings from 2018 returning to try again.

Super Bowl weekend is next week, and while new listings might be a little light then, we do expect more right after.

(We've got a pleasant surprise for you next weekend, from Confidential Realty.)

Our video this week features some of the new listings below and two that aren't available for public open houses, 2304 The Strand and 776 Manhattan Beach Blvd.:

Some email subscribers and mobile users will need to use this link to view the video.

1181 Tennyson1181 Tennyson Street Manhattan Beach CA (4br/3ba, 2350 sqft.) is a pleasant surprise behind a modest exterior.

There's lots of mid-century modern charm, with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows and sliders (updated, thankfully). There's a pocket courtyard at the entry and a backyard off the master and living room.

New wide-plank flooring is throughout the living areas, and the master bath was recently remodeled in a warm-modern style. A bonus 4th bedroom is upstairs, although there's no bath up there.

Location is on a street that's almost like a cul-de-sac, blocked to traffic at the west end. On the south side of Tennyson, across the street, there are a number of condo buildings.

1181 Tennyson Street Manhattan Beach CAMore from the official description:

"This remodeled mid-century modern home located in the 'Poets Corner' section of Manhattan Beach is drenched with light from two large skylights, that accentuates the brand new white oak hardwood floors. Through a private gate up a slate entry courtyard, double metal doors open into an open living space with vaulted ceilings. The great room environment is perfect for family entertainment. Beautiful Fleetwood sliding doors reveal a spacious backyard with a tile patio and faux grass yard and a waterfall feature. The kitchen has an island breakfast bar, and plenty of lustrous blonde cabinetry, with stainless steel appliances that includes a Viking Professional convection oven. There are four very spacious bedrooms in this nearly 2400 square foot floor plan, one of which easily converts to a family room, den or office. There are two and a half remodeled baths including a master suite with separate tub and shower, all with a warm contemporary flair. Atop the garage is an amazing sun deck, bathed in southern and western light and bordered by stainless steel and wire rail."

1181 Tennyson is at $1.649M and is open Sun. 1-4pm.

1813 Lynngrove1813 Lynngrove Drive Manhattan Beach CA (2br/1ba, 1215 sqft.) is a mostly original Liberty Village 2br with an updated bath.

The backyard is divided with a cinder block wall, for whatever reason, and backs up to Redondo Ave. near the middle school.

Hard to say what's next for this home. Could be a major project or teardown for a new build.

From the official description:

"This Charming original 1950's Liberty Village home is on a corner lot. In terms of premium lots, these are few and far between! There’s a “Value Added” opportunity to build an ADU (Additional Dwelling Unit) detached or above the garage. If unfamiliar with ADU, just ask, or call MB Planning Dept (BTV). With modest cosmetic improvements you can be living in this exceptionally close knit neighborhood... There is sizeable divided backyard for children to play outdoors, Frisbee with your dog, and more than enough area for your “organic” vegetable garden. A bonus/family room off the kitchen opens to a south and west facing patio and a brick fire-pit for relaxing fire-side with a glass of wine."

1813 Lynngrove is at $1.350M and is open Sat. & Sun. 1-4pm.
