521 13th521 13th Street Manhattan Beach CA (3br/3ba, 2425 sqft.) has a great location near downtown and some views (albeit through a thicket of wires).

The early-1980s original has been remodeled with a masculine, modern feel. However, in this particular neighborhood, the city has rezone and now allows 3-story construction. You can see some going on across the street and up the block.
