Weekend Opens (5/28-5/29/16)

Here's hoping you have a great, long weekend and take the chance to celebrate Summer's near-arrival.

With the long, holiday weekend, there are far fewer new listings this week and only a few debut open houses that we are featuring. However, the total number of listings in Manhattan Beach opening up to the public this weekend is only down a bit, from 52 last week to 42 this week.

326 2nd Street Manhattan Beach CA326 2nd (3br/3ba, 1080 sqft.) is very undersized for the full (2700 sqft.) lot and zoning, which permits denser development. That said, there are some spaces that they don't count in the official square footage. Charming as it is, you wonder what's next for this little cottage. More from the official description:

Tree Section

3201 Pine Avenue Manhattan Beach CA

3201 Pine (5br/4ba, 3250 sqft.) is a spacious '03 Cape Cod with some nice upgrades. The back patio with paving, vine-covered pergola and al fresco dining space is a nice asset. Despite the home's style, the dark cabinetry has more of a last-cycle feel to it – we'd bet on upgrades there by the next owner. More from the official description:
