About Manhattan Beach Strand Homes

There's almost nothing but sand between a Strand home and the Pacific Ocean. Panoramic ocean views are unobstructed. Modern homes often take full advantage, with floor-to-ceiling windows and home designs that capitalize on the views.

The typical full lot size in the Sand Section is 3300-3500 square feet, often a 33' wide by 100-105' deep lot. The Strand is zoned to allow for dense development, with 3-story homes permitted.

More and more, Strand homes are being built as single-family homes, although there are some multi-family townhomes and condos on The Strand, also.
