From the official description:

129 8th Street, Manhattan Beach, CA"The ultimate Manhattan Beach dream home couldn’t possibly exist, since it would require 1) a walk street location no more than four houses from the sand, 2) to be South Facing 3) well over 3,000 SF of contemporary living space, 4) stunning ocean views from every level, 5) separate guest quarters with a private entrance and 6) parking for – let’s say – six vehicles. Oh, and it should be no more than a 30-second stroll from downtown. Fortunately, today is your lucky day. Unicorns may not be real, but the ultimate MB dream home has an actual address: 129 8th Street. This sleek, 3-story luxury home impresses before even entering thanks to its walk street-facing front yard with synthetic lawn & lounging patio, but it’s what’s inside that will take your breath away. Upstairs, an art gallery-inspired loft area with jaw-dropping transparent glass flooring boasts impressive sight lines to the great room below and crashing ocean waves beyond. All three of the main home’s bedrooms are located downstairs, in addition to an office/gym space. The resort-like owner’s suite – strategically located on a corner to maximize ocean vistas – includes a patio leading to the front yard, a spa-like bathroom with rain shower & double sinks, and two closets with custom built-ins. Tree Section

1801 Oak Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA1801 Oak Ave, Manhattan Beach, CA  1801 Oak (6br/5ba, 5370 sqft.) is a very large Tree Section home with enormous, and well-defined, basement spaces.

1801 Oak Ave, Manhattan Beach, CAWe remembered this one fondly from its mid-2020 debut, as it was then clearly one of the more dramatic, warm modern homes in the Tree Section, and certainly along Oak.

The property stands out for its thoughtful design details, all kinds of softly elegant touches that might just give you a smile.

1801 Oak Ave, Manhattan Beach, CAThe basement area features a large family room that's virtually the same size as the main level's, but adds a wet bar. There's also a sizable bedroom and a tiered, dedicated home theater with projection screen.

When it sold in Oct. 2020 for $4.300M, this home set a record for Oak by more than $1.1M above the previous high.

1801 Oak Ave, Manhattan Beach, CASince then, there's been one more sale over $4.000M on Oak, in fact, it was exactly a tie at $4.300M, on new construx at 2809 Oak (5br/6ba, 3130 sqft.) in July this year. Take note: That home was 2,000 sqft. smaller than 1801 Oak, and closed near $1,400/PSF, almost 40% higher than the asking on 1801. It's all relative.

From the official description:

The open living room features high, beamed ceilings and a striking fireplace wall, making for a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. 2205 Agnes Road, Manhattan Beach, CA2205 Agnes Road, Manhattan Beach, CAThe most notable feature may be the elaborately constructed solarium pushing into the backyard, offering a large living and dining space with tons of glass.
