You Can't Kill 'El Porto'

The surf shop on Highland in "North Manhattan Beach" has kept its promise.

When other local businesses voted to scrap "El Porto" as the area's designation (see "El Porto? No Mas!"), the proprietor vowed to rename his shop to keep the name alive.

The sign went up earlier this week.
