With
10 new escrows west of Sepulveda for the second half of the month, and a (corrected) total of 9 for the first half, April would up with
19 sales (new escrows), compared to 24 in March. So, a bit slower than March.
For those of you with a historical sense, this year almost exactly matched 2009. The second half last year also saw 10 new escrows, and 17 total for April, just 2 shy of this year. That's not a huge improvement in this overall "hotter" year.
Inventory hit the market in April at precisely the same pace as last month, with
13 new listings in the second part of April giving us 27 for the month, again.
With 3 cancellations this period, total inventory rose by just 3 listings over the end of March at
84 SFRs at the end of April.
