But first, the kids.
Manhattan Beach hosts one of the largest Little Leagues in the USA, and we doubt any of the others has as great of a long-running tradition as the annual Little League Parade downtown. (C'mon, there's still snow on the ground in half the possibly competing Little League cities.)
Our favorite photographer, Mrs. MBC, captured the event for DigMB.com Saturday and posted a gallery here.
Enjoy, and, kids... play ball!
In our real estate world, perhaps you saw that inventory shot back up to a new 3-year high this week, hitting 88 listings. This week, in a 100% match for last week, 38 listings in Manhattan Beach are hosting weekend open houses.
If it rains Sunday, you're going to rely even more on our video – the biggest ever now – which features a nice custom build at 724 29th ($3.450M), a Hill Section pool estate at 917 Highview ($8.350M) which isn't publicly open and new construction at 441 3rd ($5.800M start):
Some mobile users and email subscribers will need to use this link to view the video.
To plan your open-house tours for this week, use MB Confidential's new online list of Manhattan Beach open houses (it's mobile-friendly!). Our open house link always appears in our weekly wrapups and on the main front page, under "Open Houses."
And don't forget, when previewing homes here on MB Confidential, you can click "Open All Images" right above the main listing photo to get immediate display of all the listing photos at once.

Hill Section
701 Dianthus (5br/4ba, 3600 sqft.) is a Hill Section Mediterranean Spanish that's been on and off the market in recent years, but for the first time looks a lot different, refreshed with beachy colors in lieu of the more authentic – and perhaps tired – European look that we'd seen a few times before.
This one has the familiar feel of a lot of Tree Section homes, but with a big, flat, sunny yard.
