Manhattan Beach New Listings (11/4-11/5/23)

While that time is coming when we'll see fewer new listings (and more holiday decorations), the spigot hasn't been turned off completely. There are some interesting new listings this week, although the only debuts this week are in the Trees and Sand.

We enjoyed meeting some of you last week at our new listing at 601 13th St., but, as we imagined, the listing won't be open this week because we got it under contract right away. (List price: $2.700M.)

Open house times for new listings are listed below, but you can also click SEARCHES then "Open Houses" at the top of our site, which displays all the Manhattan Beach open houses. There are also links right at the top to Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach opens.

PLEASE NOTE: Below, we present listings new to the Manhattan Beach market this week, via the MLS. They are listed and brokered by a variety of agents and firms. The name of the listing broker and agent for each property, along with any contact information supplied through the MLS, is displayed with each property, next to the price. Blog author Dave Fratello of Edge Real Estate Agency is not the listing agent unless so stated with the listing. Excerpts of the listing agent's description of each property are provided in quotes.

Tree Section

3201 Maple Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA

3201 Maple Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CA 3201 Maple Avenue (5br/6ba, 6137 sqft.) is just big, big, big.

The builders figured: Why build two houses on this double lot, when they could build one?

3201 Maple Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CAThe result is an enormous home that is really unlike anything you'll see in the Tree Section, and even mostly in the Hill Section or East Manhattan, where bigger lots exist. Where in MB do you find an 80' wide lot?

3201 Maple Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CAThe first floor features grand, wide-open living spaces, going out to a wide, but not deep, yard, now planted with grass and olive trees. There's something of a U-shape in back around a sizable patio area, with a bedroom and a dedicated ffice on either side of the first floor of the house.

The kitchen is huge, with a separate butler's pantry and walk-in pantry area. There's laundry as well, but it's not the only laundry room (not in 6000 sqft. it's not).

3201 Maple Avenue, Manhattan Beach, CAUpstairs, the first thing you'll see is two large common areas – kids' living rooms, if you will, completely separate and apart from the vast downstairs living spaces.

Head into the primary suite, and you pass a sizable room that's staged as a home gym – and the space appears to be dedicated to that purpose. (We first imagined that it was an unfinished closet, but no – there's a finished closet elsewhere.) Of course the primary bath is splendid (although there's only one photo), and the bedroom itself is large – as it ought to be. (No photo of the primary bedroom in the listing, however.)

There are three more large bedroom suites upstairs, bringing your total to 5 bedrooms, 4 up, 1 down + office.

From the official description:
