MB Market Update: 9/15/13

It's time for one of our twice-monthly market updates.

Inventory was "up" to 59 as of the 15th of September, up from the end of August, but still down from 63 one month prior.

As we prepare this post, inventory is down again, to 56 as of the 17th.

Before we give you the rundown and links, we just have to mention 222 Larsson.

They've cut the price a whopping $12.00 today. If it wasn't attractive over the past 2 months, maybe now?

We'll go out on a limb and assume that this was much more about getting some lucky 8's into the list price than it was about making an actual price correction, or even as a play for attention.

Some people bury little St. Joseph statues for luck in selling a home, others push the crazy 8's. Whatever works.

Here's the quick overview on active inventory at mid-month:

  • 59 active listings as of 9/15/13
  • 48 SFRs
  • 11 THs

Mid-July saw 70 listings, mid-August 63, and now here we are.

  • Tree Section: 10 actives
  • Sand Section: 22 actives
  • Hill Section: 10 actives
  • East MB: 17 actives
