Quick Correction on Valley

By Dave Fratello | October 8th, 2012
The public launch of 2115 Valley (3br/3ba, 3470 sq. ft.) came with a price that was entirely too high.

Before the first public open house, they made a quick correction that deserves notice.

This unusual 80s structure, which we dubbed "The Labyrinth House" in our recent "Weekend Opens" post, first came online 2 weeks ago at $1.825m. Brokers were invited last Friday, and the public Sunday.

In our review, we stated a rather obvious truth: "[I]ts start at $1.825m goes far over the likely ceiling for a property of this type."

Surely that wasn't the only feedback they got saying much the same thing.

So the list price was cut 11% (-$200k) before the first member of the public walked through the front door on Sunday.

At $1.625m now, this big, odd house on a busy street is hardly a screaming deal, but they're moving in the right direction.
